Just wonder, is Green Discus known as Wild Caught Discus ???

There are Green discus that are wild caught and Green discus that are not wild caught.

you can get some domestic red spotted greens from asia, they're not wilds, they're kind like a blue turks with a green sheen to them.

Ben, wild discus means just that. Caught in the wild, not tank bred. They're usually referred to as wild caught Blue or wild caught brown or wild caught Heckel and so on.

If those fish taken from the wild happen to breed while in captivity, then their fry would simply be referred to as F1 Blue or F1 Brown.

F1 meaning one generation removed from wild caught fish. Any fry from those F1 fish would then become F2. That is, 2 generations removed from the wild.

A fish can only be called a true wild fish if it was actually taken from the wild.

coz i just bought 2 Wild Caught Green Discus and they so nice so just want to see if there are any other different type of green discus

Now you know we're going to want to see piccies of those lovely fish you just bought :P
