wow Tara love your photos mate.

Those first couple are nice!

FYI

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.cfm?pCatId=24

From what I have read is that they will grow Big, and they will graze and eat various corals ( refer to the reef safe chart )

Be careful when they die they are toxic so they may release toxins into your water which is a no no!!!

your last picture is of a stunning spotted Mandarin. They are very hard to keep alive and need a matured and stable tank. They will eat the pods in your tank so i hope you tank has plenty

Thanks for the info Nick. All of them are doing well. Eating really well, which I am pleased as I have heard the spotted Mandarin can be a bit fussy.

The tank has been running for a year now, and havnt had any problems as yet.

You could always turn the new tank into a marine tank Tara.

That would look awsome :P

Awesome fishies Tara!

Puffers are cool little marine fishies, can be a lil tricky to keep. Same with mandarins.

Fill the new tanks back trickle filter with Live rock, put the hood in the bin and use cieling mounted halides, add 200 kilo's of live rock and you have the start of one of the best marine tanks in OZ!

I was threatened with a beating by a metre length of Eheim tubing for making the same suggestion  Good to see the tank went to a good home, if I was still in Melb I would have pounced on the sale of it.

Nice fish too, best of luck with them ;)

Cheers,

Dee.

I'm getting the feeling there is someone picking on my marine tank
Don't give me any ideas Ben and Merrilyn otherwise I will be beaten by a metre length of Eheim tubing if I have any more marine tanks, especially if I turned the new tank into one

Love those little Spotted Boxies Tara. I saw a few of them out on the reef the other day.
The Mandarin is great too. They are one of the most beautiful fish in the ocean I reckon. Mine loved Mysis shrimp and plankton but yours looks pretty fat so I'd say he has no trouble eating!

Here's some of the Boxfish I saw.
