Anyone know where (if ??) I can get some Corydoras leucomelas in Australia - preferably Perth?

Most places have never even heard of them - let alone stock them.

They don't mind the warmer Discus temps - hence the interest.

Thanks

Dave :)

Not one of the commonly farm bred corydoras species.... While they may be common in South America, they are by no means common imports in Australia. Have not seen them before. We have had C.agassizi (quite similar) before.

Thanks for the reply Kev

Very common and cheap in South Am - collecters get $7USD for 1,000 of em - that is less than a cent for each fish caught !!! crazy.

I have seen the agassizi locally - but from what I've read they aren't fans of the higher temps.

I've currently got pandas in my discus tank with the temp around 28deg - they are doing ok - but the ones in my other tank at 26deg seem a lot happier.

Any other corys you can suggest ? I've got some sterbais on order - just waiting for them to arrive....

Thanks

Dave
