Just took these yesterday, with the glass cleaned  and using a buddies NICE new camera

Please tell me what you think...they are my biggest two discus, and Ive always thought they were gonna end up being my pair....they chase eachother all over, nibbling at eachother, and they do the shimmy....mostly the big pigeon does this, but the ocean takes it, and shimmies back

Please give me your best "guess" as to who is male and female....I know you cant ever tell for sure, but Im curious what you experts think

Be honest about them too...I can take it....this is my first time with discus

Thanks very much
Eric

Thanks ILLUSN

Is my "super red scorpion" a "red turk" that poor guy is prolly stunted :( That is a nice fish, and its a shame....it comes out to eat much more now, but still hides a lot, and I do think its eye is a bit big for its belly :(

Thanks for the compliments about my ocean....he is a nice looking fish

going by the number of stress bars I'd your "scorpion" say it's decended from a red snakeskin (which you can argue is a mutation from a red turk).

i'd personally go for a blue turk or a cobalt, still red turk/snake crossed with ocean green(VERY HIGH GRADE blue diamond ) will look very nice.

Thanks ILLUSN....my lady picked that "snakeskin" when we ordered them, and it is a very nice fish....def. on the stunted side, or will be soon

ocean green(VERY HIGH GRADE blue diamond )

I never knew an ocean green was a high grade blue diamond?

I guess I will hope either my ocean or my snakeskin is a female....my big pigeon and my ocean have been doing a lot of fighting lately...going nose to nose and snapping at eachother back and forth! lol! Its kinda fun to watch!

Thanks again!
Eric

Its not.

Same strain of fish ,, it simply has a green sheen to it. Has nothing to do with quality.

Ohh...ok...thanks Nicholas76

Well Im hoping the ocean starts to like my turk or whatever it is, and they start to do their thing, so I can find out male and female...I prolly have all males :(

Thanks again :D
