Bit cheaper than that now but you will still find it hard to find and they will get cheaper as time goes on.

I think last time they were available to me they had a price tag of $700.

Ummmm .... errr. Woweee ....

If that is the case, I might realistically add sailfin pleco to the list, availability and price appreciated.

Most of the ones I see seem to be in display tanks.

Flukes, lets start that fish shop we always dreamed about somewhere on a small coastal city, we can claim our purchases, as business expenses for tax purposes ... for our shop display tanks !

thanks for posting the picture, he is absolutely beautiful. I am sure you will have no trouble finding a buyer.
He is a Plecostomus plecostomus (Hypostomus plecostomus).

Since I can't get my zebra pleco (at a reasonable price), I have decided to put my pleco purchase on hold until I have another non-discus tank.

I am going to go with a royal whiptail catfish (Sturisoma panamense) which will meet my algae purpose.

Thanks Jonesy. Again beautiful setup, and I sure someone will gladly take him. Gorgeous.

Beautiful kev, I will be in touch.

Found this super cute picture on the net of a whiptail with a pleco.
