please read
(How long can juvi discus live without food?) thread in discus keeping 101
in particular page 4.
any Ideas on kribensis female bloat?
I don`t believe it to be tb related.
no scales sticking out from body etc.
and male pop eye problem.
any Idea if these are bacterial related?
do I need to treat discus for something else.
what is the best form of treatment?
I also have other dwarves in with them that I don`t want to lose.

thanks guys

take them out and put them into hospital tank. pop-eye is usually related to bacteria and I haven't been successful treating it at all, and sadly it has always lead to the death of the fish. As an alternative to antibiotics I've tried meth blue and salt treatments on pop-eye as well with no success.
Bloated fish could be anything from dropsy to the fish being unable to pass waste or something else, like being egg-bound. If it's dropsy, the scales start sticking out at some point, if they haven't yet, you might be in luck, maybe send mike (noddy65) a pm and ask him for the best med, he's a vet and might know. also if you think it's dropsy, then definitely isolate the fish, as it's infectious.
might be good to isolate your sick fish in any case.
good luck

thanks chris,
don`t think it`s dropsy or tb.
no scales sticking out ect.
I would pull the sick ones out but I really want to be sure I sort out everything in the tank.
theres not a lot in there but I don`t want to run the risk of losing my other dwarves by not treating everything now.
