looks like a very high quality fish to me. one characteristic that really stands out to me is its clear tail which is essential in show quality fish. it has nice shape, not perfectly round but it isnt fully grown yet.

in terms of colour i think its doing very well, some very nice spot there!

keep pumping it full of food and keep up the water changes and it will be one stunning fish!

cant help you on the name sorry :S

cheers
David

how old is the fish, i think its some kind of leopard. if its anywhere near adult then I feel its an average fish, if its a juvenile I'm not so sure.

it is still a pretty young fish but not sure of the age ? it's about 10-11cm

the pattern and colour looks very nice, I personally would prefer a much rounder shape, where quality goes, I feel its average. I'm not exactly the last word on discus quality (I'm more like the second or third word   ) so I could be way off. :D

It looks like a juvenile fish to me, if thats the case then you do have a nice fish.

however I think the eye size is a tad too big for that body. Colouration is pretty wicked in my books.

Id be keeping this tacker just to see how it develops

if its that young it should turn out to be a pretty decent fish.

First things first, what we have here is essentially a juvenile fish.

It has great spotting over the body in more or less even size red dots. It has a nice blue tinge to it too.

I am with Samir on the shape though, it needs to be far more rounded in appearance. The eye is also a little big for the size of the face, this can be rectified though.

Good straight stress bars.

I would be pumping this guys full of food as often as possible and try to speed up the growth rate of the little fella.

...thereīs lots of names. Venus
But Iīd say itīs a quality discus in good health and may be interesting to see the progeny.
